The inflation is due to out of control government spending. price controls will only give the current administration more power to control the economy and citizens. The last thing we want if we want a functional free country is price controls. Need change to who is running the country. Vote Trump for 2024.

Why do mandated price control needs to be in effect? Because there really wasn't any inflation, it was an excuse to over charge people. Now it got out of control and needs to addressed.

I will need some help with this. I know what I know and I don't pretend to know something I don't. When I voice an opinion I state it as such. Didn't a conservative named Richard Nixon try price controls in the early 70's? The communists haven't necessarily disproven communism (more on that later). What the communists have disproven is central planning. Price controls are central planning! Now, how have the communists not "necessarily" disproven communism? Didn't some of their founders talk about labor guilds (labor unions)? Labor guilds (unions) are their version of checks and balances. Can you name even one communist country that had labor guilds? Poland towards the end of their communism started to, I believe. Lastly, I am a Christian. I see how communism treats all people of faith, not just Christians. I've read many of the comments and concerns -WHAT I don't see addressed is WHAT about the future of the COUNTRY? WHERE would we be today if the citizens of the 1940's had all this resistance to the draft? We live and enjoy the "milk and honey" of the country - but WHO pays for it? The Military! I retired from the Dept. of Health. My wife retired from Dept. of Environment & Conservation. I wasn't medical. I was technical, mainly supporting the labs and collecting data. My wife was administrative and supervised their support staff at E&C. My wife is a cancer survivor. I did study biology and chemistry in college. I'm no expert but I'm not ignorant. We considered the mRNA vaccines and decided against them. mRNA has been experimented with since the mid 1990s but was never used outside a research environment. We decided they were never properly tested. Too little was known about side effects and their effects on comorbidities, especially like those in cancer patients. Today it seems our concerns have been validated. To my knowledge none of the mRNA vaccines never received final approval. They have been deployed under Emergency Use Authorization. Now some drug companies are speeding full steam ahead to replace traditional vaccines with mRNA versions. We will continue to refuse mRNA vaccines! I believe that the full impact of this mRNA panic will not be known for five to ten years. I still know of no good independent studies done on the effects of the mRNA vaccines. Now, we have Monkey Pox. Our personal policy with COViD will be our policy with M Pox. We only wore masks when forced to. We treated the COViD pandemic the same as a serious flu season. We are both good. The authorities are about control, not health and safety. All their "experts" are puppets of someone's agenda and cannot be trusted. If our borders were closed and illegals kept out and deported we could avoid most of this!

Price caps places downward pressure on other areas of economies like payment options(that cost money), product quality (Chinese crap), product availability (supply), investment returns(retirement), downward consumer retail experience (even worse), squeezed profit margins, decrease job availability, decreased income, and progressively lower company revenue. P/E at 30 just don’t make sense but It’ll continue. Technology will be used to make up the difference and there will be no incentive to work. Lesson...get out of debt. Things are worse than what the government is divulging. If you own a home, pay down the mortgage. You immediately will make money on the interest you're saving. Now is not the time to renovate or sell. I weathered the storm in 2008 & paid down by mortgage by 9 yrs. It's wonderful to see your mortgage paid off.
